Sales Copywriter – Remote

Launched in 2016, The Webpage Site.com specializes in website management and website design. We manage the digital properties (websites) of small and midsize businesses looking to communicate and compete online.

We are looking for a remote sales copywriter with excellent communication skills, sales awareness, consumer empathy and a bit of tech knowhow to serve as our content writer. This includes, but not limited to, email marketing, blog post creation, topic research, content filing, content scheduling.

In this role you will be developing content designed to drive demand for the TheWebpageSite.com products and working to capture customers workflows into repeatable written workflows, how-to’s, etc

Job Responsibilities

• Create email sales sequences, email announcements, blog posts, process documentation
• Research and craft short-form informational and sales driven emails, blog content, articles, web page copy for targeted audiences
• Collaborate weekly with other members of our marketing team to ensure that existing and newly created content is on target and optimized for each desired audiences (as determined by clicks or conversions)
• Ensure all project deadlines are met on time and within budget
• Proofing of created content before it is published to the public
• Posting or uploading of created content

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role or field (content writer, email campaign manager, email marketing manager etc.)
• 2+ years experience interpreting analytics/trends in order to make creative suggestions based on digital marketing best practice
• High School degree or equivalent
• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented
• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficient computer skills including Excel/ Word/ Email
• Home office with computer capable of producing created content and internet access

Preferred

• Understanding of the sales funnel and web metrics
• Experience using content publishing software such as MailPoet or MailerLite
• Experience using industry specific software (WordPress)
• Experience working with both “technical” AND “creative” types
